ioncentric joins the IDTA

ioncentric has joined the Industrial Digital Twin Association, further expanding its commitment to digital twin technologies. At the center of this effort is the Asset Administration Shell (AAS), a standardized framework for the digital representation of assets that is increasingly seen as the foundation for the Digital Product Passports.

Structured data models (AAS)

The AAS describes assets, components, or systems through structured, interoperable data models. Using clearly defined submodels — for example for technical properties, condition data, or measurement values — information can be consistently captured, managed, and exchanged. This creates the basis for making product-related data available throughout the entire lifecycle, a key building block of the Digital Product Passport.

Precise condition data (EIS)

In this context, ioncentric contributes its expertise in electrochemical analysis and condition assessment. Its solutions provide precise measurement and condition data that can be integrated into AAS-compliant structures, making an important contribution to the content and quality of digital product information.

Digital Product Passports

By joining the IDTA, ioncentric aims to systematically translate this data into standardized AAS submodels and actively contribute to their further development. Standardization is becoming increasingly important, particularly in light of future requirements for the Digital Product Passport — such as transparency, traceability, and data consistency.

This opens up new opportunities for customers and partners: data can be provided in a uniform, structured format and integrated into different systems. This not only makes existing applications more efficient but also enables the development of new data-driven services.

By joining the IDTA, ioncentric is strengthening the foundation for implementing standardized digital twins and positioning itself in the emerging ecosystem of future Digital Product Passports.
